Ten Tracks have released the headline act for their stage...FROG POCKET!

We are also pleased to announce Glasgow synth pop maestro Tokyo Knife Attack will be taking the journey eastwards to join us on the main stage.

"Tokyo Knife Attack is the work of Glasgow resident Craig Bell who's musical influences cover a broad spectrum, but most notably electro hip-hop, disco and synth pop.

Craig started making music as a kid in the 80's by putting cassette recorders inside cardboard boxes and battering them with wooden spoons, a technique he still advocates to this day... although he has developed a few extra skills over the years, we think you'd agree.

His chunky beats and friendly melodies swim gleefully against the current tide of dark and bassy electro, although he has been known to indulge in a spot of darkness himself with the brooding debut EP 'Generic Signal' for his Ditone project in 2006."

The Vinyl Club was formed by The Disfunktional Residents, a group of friends with a desire to hear quality electronic music on their community radio station Leith FM.

The show now in it’s 5th year has developed to include a guest mix each week with many established artists both local and international supporting The Vinyl Club, giving you, the listener, a sample of their forward thinking, our aim is simple: To provide quality underground electronic music in it’s many forms. This has always been what we pride ourselves on regardless of current trends, past fads or future flavours, we always aim to give you a memorable soundscape and most of all, one you will tune in to week after week.

The Laptop Lounge are joining forces with the Vinyl Club to run one of our stages and it's going to be absolutely sublime.  they are keeping all details quiet at the moment but expect the unexpected as two of Edinburgh's best purveyors of electronica join forces for one night!

We are pleased to announce that Anchorsong  will be joining us from London where he's currently making waves and supporting the likes of Jagga Jazzist, DJ Krush, Bonobo and more...

Anchorsong embraces what Unique Beats is all about.  Using technology to aid creativity...whilst putting on a damn fine live performance.

He creates music with a sampler (AKAI MPC2500) and a keyboard (KORG Triton) right in front of the audience.

His reputation is known internationally through YouTube, where since the first video was uploaded, they have been viewed more than 100,000 times. Check it out for yourself:

Joining us for a third time will be Asthmatic Astronaut.
As a DJ he first came to our attention via Japanese label, DEJINE. Also having released material on Black Lantern Music and Tru Thoughts.  With a brand new album coming out on March 31st this is going to be an exciting and fresh performance.  We can't wait!

One of Unique Beats' very own - Melvitronica joins the line-up.  Expect  looper pedals, monstrous beats, flute, Kaos pads, dreadlocks and floor stomping tunes!
