More acts confirmed for UB Fest v2.0... 03/20/2010
Ten Tracks have released the headline act for their stage...FROG POCKET! Frog Pocket is a regular on the live circuit and friendships with other labels ensures he always keeps himself busy. His manic, physical sets are a spectacle that can only impress. Incorporating backing beats, live fiddle, guitar and vocal, Frog Pocket has maintained his credibility both as a musician and contemporary electronic performer.(taken from www.benbecula.com) We are also pleased to announce Glasgow synth pop maestro Tokyo Knife Attack will be taking the journey eastwards to join us on the main stage. Here's what Pest Control Records has to say: "Tokyo Knife Attack is the work of Glasgow resident Craig Bell who's musical influences cover a broad spectrum, but most notably electro hip-hop, disco and synth pop. Craig started making music as a kid in the 80's by putting cassette recorders inside cardboard boxes and battering them with wooden spoons, a technique he still advocates to this day... although he has developed a few extra skills over the years, we think you'd agree. His chunky beats and friendly melodies swim gleefully against the current tide of dark and bassy electro, although he has been known to indulge in a spot of darkness himself with the brooding debut EP 'Generic Signal' for his Ditone project in 2006." More info including details of when and where tickets will be on sale coming very soon... CommentsLeave a Reply | Welcome to UNIQUE BEATS
